Dragon Accent

Even though I've been inactive on FLight Rising for a good couple months, I had the urge to try my hand at accent making again. Maybe it's because I've heard there's not a lot of entries for the upcoming fire flight fest, but I also had an idea. Using the new hatchling accents, I wanted to make a pearlcatcher baby holding a sun. Of course using my favorite color combination. Not just because I like it, but so the colors aren't same-y. Y'know?

Here it is on an example scry:

That also doubles as a link to the forum page.

Definitely not the best out there, and may not get picked, but I had fun playing with brushes & the lighting. Only sad thing is I don't think I'll be getting the item to make the accent a reality in the game. But that's just as well, honestly. I don't have any permanent pearlcatcher hatchlings lying around. Youth scrolls ain't cheap either, and I already have too many projects.

At least it's something I made. Something I drew & put out into the world. I like it, at the very least. That's what matters. I did it for fun.

Got nothin' else to write about, really. I spent most of the day on that accent. Time well spent, I think. Enjoyed making it.

Time enjoyed is not time wasted.

A good friend of mine said that to me once.
