Bug Dream

I had a dream where I was watering plants & as I was admiring a spider web, I noticed there was a huge wad of dirt next to it, near the top of the roses. Inside it I noticed the back end of what I assumed to be a beetle grub. Knowing it's location wasn't safe, I pulled it out.

As I dusted off the dirt, what I assumed to be a little beetle grub turned out to be further on in development than I thought. It even had the beginnings of wings. As I looked at it more, I noticed it wasn't a beetle at all! Perhaps a cicada? No, a moth; The size and texture of an ear of corn! Even the color, which was once the jaundice yellow of a grub, now seemed to be pale green with a pink gradient on the wings.

Then it began to move. Subtly at first, in just the legs, but soon it started to really squirm in my hands. I wanted to take a picture, just so others would believe what I've found; As I've never seen a bug like this. It's massive, and beautiful! So I held it down on a nearby patio tabe as I searched my pockets for my phone.

Then I woke up.

I never played a Final Fantasy game & don't intend on ever playing it. But Exponential Entropy fucks heavy. It's hardcore stuck in my head today. Good shit.
